| | | Guy T. Marinello, 72, of Latham, died on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at St. Peter’s Hospice following a brief illness.
Born in Troy, he was a son of the late Guy T. and Angeline Marinello. He received his education at St. Augustine’s School in Troy and Catholic Central High School. A resident of Waterford for 10 years, he moved to Latham in 1980. He had been a winter resident of Bradenton, Florida since 1992.
Mr. Marinello was a historic conservation technician with the NYS Department of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation on Peebles Island in Waterford for 14 years retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Watervliet Lodge of Elks.
He is survived by his dear friend and companion, Fritz Dorr of Latham and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Monday at 10:30am in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Latham, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Following cremation, interment will take place, privately, in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Watervliet. There are no public calling hours.
