1921 - 2009 Lois Jean Gee, 87, Savannah, Missouri passed from this life on Monday, April 6, 2009 in her home. Lois was born October 7, 1921 in Savannah, Missouri to Roy and Louella (McDorman) Maughmer. She was a 1939 graduate of Savannah High School and attended Platt-Gard Business College. Lois married Caryl Gee on August 9, 1959 in Maryville, Missouri. Lois was a benefits coordinator at St. Joseph Light and Power for 45 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Savannah, Missouri and a 50 year member of the RK Sorority. Lois was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Max Maughmer. Survivors: her husband of almost 50 years, Caryl Gee, of the home; nephews and nieces, John and Jimmie Maughmer, Jean and Ernie Wasden, Roy Wayne and Kathy Gee; and many great nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life: 1:30 PM Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Breit-Hawkins & Gladden Funeral Home, Savannah, MO. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph. Public viewing and family receiving hours 12:30 – 1:30 PM Wednesday. Members of Masonic Hi-12 Club will serve as pallbearers. Memorial donations to Savannah First Baptist Church. | ||
