1939 - 2009 Darla Kay (Dysart) Waegele, 70, Bolckow, Missouri passed from this life on Monday, August 3, 2009 at her mother’s home. Darla was a remarkable, intelligent, beautiful wife, mother and grandmother. She was born March 19, 1939 in Bolckow, Missouri to Howard and Suedena (Edwards) Dysart. Darla graduated as valedictorian from Fillmore C-1 High School with one of the highest IQs in the county. She married Donald L. Waegele on June 6, 1958 at Savannah, Missouri. Darla was a homemaker. She loved her gardening, flowers, canvas and china painting, and especially her southern-style cooking. Darla had a deep love for the South. She also enjoyed Dale Earnhardt and her NASCAR racing. Her father preceded Darla in death. She leaves behind a legacy of loved ones: husband, Donald Waegele, of the home; sons, Randy Chris Waegele and wife, RoxAnn, Bolckow, Missouri; Kirby D. Waegele and wife, Barb, Savannah, Missouri; mother, Suedena Dysart-Burns, Mound City, Missouri; granddaughters, Brittanie and Kelsey Waegele; 3 step granddaughters, Dana Calloway, Krissy Walker and CiJay Smith; step grandson, Tyler Smith; 6 step great grandchildren. Her first great granddaughter is due in December. She will always be in our hearts. Celebration of Life: 10:00 AM Friday, August 7, 2009 at Breit-Hawkins & Gladden Funeral Home, Savannah, Missouri. Interment at Dysart Cemetery, Fillmore, Missouri. Public viewing and family receiving from 6 to 8 PM Thursday. The family suggests memorials to a choice of the donor. | ||
