1943 – 2009 David Albert Miller, Jr., 66, Amazonia, Missouri passed from this life on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Heartland Hospital, St. Joseph. David was born June 14, 1943 in Cosby, Missouri. He was honorably discharged from the National Guard in 1962. David retired from Quaker Oats. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and cart racing. David was preceded in death by his father, David Albert Miller; and mother, Madge (Mandler) Kearnes. Survivors: son, David A. Miller, III and wife, Joanie, St. Joseph, Missouri; brothers, Wes and Jim Miller; sister, Kay Peterson; fiancé, Beverly Marshall; 4 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life: 10:30 AM Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Gladden-Stamey Funeral Home, St. Joseph. Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph. Public viewing and family receiving from 6 to 8 PM Monday. | ||
