Bell, Eugene

Eugene age 75 of Appleton, was born to eternal life February 4, 2009, at Appleton Medical Center. He was born May 6, 1933, in Ashland, WI, son of the late Eugene and Hulda (Andersen) Bell. He married Patricia LaGrew March 25, 1961, sharing almost 48 years together. Eugene owned and operated Bell’s Trucking until he retired.

He is survived by his wife: Patricia, Appleton; a son and daughter-in-law: Dennis and Cora Bell, Appleton; a daughter Christina Bell, Appleton; 4 grandsons: Justin (Myra) Bell, CA; Jon (Ashley) Holcomb, Appleton; Jesse (Darlene) Bell, Appleton; James Bell, Appleton; 4 granddaughters: Tanya, Abigail, Alexandria and Katilin Bell all of Appleton; and 2 great grandchildren: Julia and Alexis. He was preceded in death by 2 sons: Kenneth and David.

A memorial service will be held 3 PM Sunday, February 8, 2009, at his home church, “The Jewels of the Master”, 2643 Buchanan Rd, Appleton, with Rev. Sue Timm officiating. Inurnment will take place at Bluff Cemetery, Brillion, WI. Friends may call at Eugene’s home on Sunday from 2 PM until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established.

The family would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Country Terrace and the nurses and staff at Appleton Medical Center for making Eugene’s last day comfortable.
