Osmond, Jane
Jane Osmond died on April 10th, 2009. She was born on September 2nd, 1924 to George and Elizabeth Roffey in Plymouth, England. Jane trained as a nurse at St. Bart’s Hospital, Rochester and nursed in London during World War II. On November 12th, 1947, she married Humphry Osmond and they had three children – Helen, Fee, and Julian. Jane and Humphry lived in Milford, England; Weyburn, Canada; Tuscaloosa, Alabama; and, finally, in Appleton, Wisconsin.
She will be greatly missed and always remembered by her brother Ted (Carol), her sister in law Dorothy, her daughter in law Sue, her grandchildren Dan, Ben (Jenny), Robert, Lucy (James), and Chelsea; her great grandson Freddie; her nephew James (Caroline and Tom) and her niece Julia. Throughout her life, Jane cared for others.
Per Jane’s wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the Humane Society or to a charity of your choice.
