Grotenhuis, Gary “Groty”
Formerly of Appleton
Age 58, died Friday September 18, 2009 at his home in Conover. Gary worked at Appleton Papers for 38 years and then moved to Eagle River.
He is survived by his 2 daughters: Tracey Stilp and Angela Grotenhuis, both of Menasha. 3 grandchildren: McKenzie, Ashley, and Zachary Stilp; 2 brothers: David “Butch” and Mike “Groty” Grotenhuis; he is further survived by 8 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Florence Grotenhuis.
A memorial service will take place at 5pm Thursday September 24th at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit at the funeral chapel from 3 pm Thursday until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
