Thelma B. Williams, age 96, formerly of Wooster, OH died at Fairhaven Health Care Center, Upper Sandusky, OH at 3:37 a.m. Thurs. Aug. 20, 2009.

She was born Feb. 11, 1913 in Bayfield, WI to the late Tonnes "Tony" and Bergitta "Bertha" (Mjelde) Larsen.

She married David M. Williams on Nov. 27, 1940 in Rocky River, OH, he preceded her death on Feb. 15, 1986.

Surviving children are daughters Judith E. Yaeger, Irving, TX, Glenna K. Sheaffer and her friend Gary Griebling, Mansfield, OH, Kristin M. (Tony) Orians, Upper Sandusky, OH and a son Dennis M. Williams, Plain City, OH, a daughter-in-law Laurel Williams, Wooster, OH.
She is preceded in death by a son David E. Williams.
She is survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren & 3 step-grandchildren, a sister Audie Reinhardt, Des Moines, WA.

She is preceded in death by 3 sisters Edith Schrieber, Vivian Conrad, Muriel Williams, 5 brothers Allen Larsen, Herbert Larsen, Gilbert Larsen, Edwin Larsen & Sigurd Larsen.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Williams was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Madisonburg, OH.

She was a past member of Clear Creek Club, Wooster, OH, Hill'n Dale Garden Club, Wooster, OH, T.O.P.S., Madisonburg, OH, she was a former sunday school teacher at Salem Lutheran Church, former 4-H adviser in Madisonburg, OH, she collected thimbles, enjoyed flower & vegetable gardening, she was an excellant cook & enjoyed her pet cat "Whatta".

A committal service will be held Monday, Aug. 24, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. in Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster, OH with Rev. Marianne Powrie officiating.

Visitation will be held Sun. Aug. 23, 2009 from 1-4:00 p.m. in the Bringman Clark Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky, OH.
A prayer services will follow visitation at 4:00 p.m. Sun. Aug. 23, 2009 lead by Rev. Cathy Wirth.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Hospice of Wyandot Co., Fairhaven Health Care Community or Salem Lutheran Church, Madisonburg, OH in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
