Glenn S. Liles, age 89, formerly of CH 53 Forest, OH died at 3:47 a.m. in the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Upper Sandusky, OH on Wed. Oct. 7, 2009.

He was born June 8, 1920 in Wyandot Co. to the late Earl & Bessie (Ward) Liles.

He married Betty Jane Walton, they were divorced, he later married Dola Garrison Peoytt, she survives with her family in W VA.

He is survived by sons Robert (Marci) Liles, Arlington, TX, Donald (Cindy) Liles, Gallatin, TN, a daughter Kathy (Loren) Atkins, Upper Sandusky, OH, 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, a brother Gaylord Liles, Lucasville, OH, a sister Valeria Braun preceded him in death.

Mr. Liles attended Big Oak Methodist Church & Wharton Church of God.

He was a retired farmer, was a job foreman for Ruttman Construction Co. building grain & coal storage silo's starting in 1959 and had been employed by Huber Co., Marion, OH.

He was member of Wyandot Co. Farm Bureau.

He enjoyed decorating his farmstead for Christmas, working in his apple orchard, was fond of his John Deere equipment, enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening and sharing life stories.

Funeral services will be held Sat. Oct. 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Livingston officiating.

Burial will be in Hueston Cemetery, Forest, OH.

Visitation will held Fri. Oct. 9, 2009 from 5-7 p.m. in the Bringman Clark Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wyandot Co. or Wyandot Co. 4-H Endowment Fund.
