Sorry to hear of your loss. She was a wonderful neighbor for many yrs. in Valley View. My daughters thought of her as a grandmother. I remember her baking cupcakes and letting them on the porch, so when we would get home from picking apples, the girls would have a treat. We loved her dearly and she will always be in out thoughts. Nancy, Bill & family, So sorry to hear of your loss. She was such a nice lady! I used to deliver her groceries to her when I worked at Midway.. that was around the same time Gloria & Jack were helping her out..She had a long wonderful life!

To the Whitman family, Oh, how well I remember working for your Mom & Dad! Your Mother was a great inspiration for me (at my young age)and I learned SO MUCH from her. She always offered encouragement and I really looked up to her.She was a great mentor! I thought about her many times, but didn't take the time often enough to call her. It is my loss! Just to tell you, on
Wednesday, the day that she went to Heaven, I was making split pea soup and thought about her.
You know that was my favorite soup when I worked at night and would eat dinner with "The Kimmel's". There are many fond memories of working for here. She was a wonderfull person and I will miss her, as I know you will too, even though I hadn't been in touch for some time. She is now at peace. May God carry the family in the palm of his hand during this difficult time. Always Jane Maurer
