Randy Eugene Spotts, age 60, of 1009 W Main St, Valley View, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at the Schuylkill Medical Center- East, Pottsville. He was born on Sunday, July 18, 1948 in Hegins Twp, a son of the late Russell B Spotts and the late Betty Jane (Morgan) Spotts. He was a graduate of Tri-Valley High School. He was employed as a coal miner before becoming ill. He enjoyed horse racing. He is survived by his wife, Donna I Spotts, to whom he was married for twenty years. He is also survived by five daughters, Richlle D Focht and her husband, Brad of Hegins, Rhonda L Johnson and her finacee, Jim Tobin of Valley View, Rachel A Schaeffer and her husband, Jeremy of Pine Grove, Renee R Reiner and her husband, Darryn of Valley View, and Randi R Spotts and her companion Edwin Santos, of Valley View; three grandsons, Billy B Wagner, Skyler S Derfler, and Austin R Johnson; four granddaughters, Sierra M Wagner, Destinee R Johnson, Kaylee A Schaeffer, and Kaitlyn I Schaeffer. He will be greatly missed by his Bichon Queenie Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
