Arlene Mae Williams, age 73, of 311 W Laurel Street, Tremont, passed away Monday, June 22, 2009 at her home. She was born on Thursday, November 7, 1935 in Tremont, a daughter of the late Charles F. Reedy and the late Alice A. (Miller) Reedy. She was a graduate of the former Tremont High School. She retired as a seamstres for the former Summit Station Mfg. Co. She was a member of St. Peter's U.C.C. Church, Tremont. She was also a member of the Tremont Senior Citizens. She enjoyed sewing as a hobby and was an avid world traveler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E Williams on May 18, 2009. She is survived by a son David L. Williams and his wife, Patricia of Valley View; a daughter Susan A. Filer and her husband, Jeff of Palmyra; and four grandchildren. There will be no services Burial will be made at the convenience of the family in the German Reformed Cemetery, Tremont. Memorial contributions can be made to St Peter's United Church of Christ, 57 Spring Street, Tremont PA 17981. Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
