Robin Edward "Slob" Lucas, age 47, of 19 W.Railroad Street, Donaldson, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009 from injuries sustained in an auto accident in Rush Twp, Dauphin County.

He was born on Tuesday, June 19, 1962 in Pottsville, a son of Lila J Lucas of Donaldson and the late Ray A "Checky" Lucas.

He was a former coal miner and the proud owner of Sharpshooters Bar and Grill, Tremont.

He was of the Protestant Faith.

He was a member of the Valley View Gun Club, Valley View Fire Company, Tremont Legion, Pine Grove North End Fire Co., Pine Grove Fish and Game, 10 Pin, and Strausstown Rod and Gun Club.

He participated in the Freeland State Dart Tournament. He was one of the top dart shooters in the state of Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by a nephew Kevin Lucas, Jr and a cousin Jason "Zipper" Lucas.

Surviving in addition to his mother are a son, Ray A Lucas of Tower City; two daughters, Brandy L Lucas of Richland and Rachel A Lucas of Tower City; a grandson, Jason M Kroh, Jr. of Richland; six brothers, David A Lucas of Hegins, Rick L Lucas of Joliett, Gary R Lucas, Kevin T Lucas, Darryl "Bimmer" W Lucas all of Donaldson, and Barry Lucas of Birdsboro; five sisters, Judy A Hoover of Williamstown, Debra J Cinqmars of Williamstown, Christine J Morgan and Donna E Morgan both of Valley View, and Faye Nanni of Birdsboro; several nieces and nephews; and his dog and companion Baby Bad.

Services were held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating.

Burial was made in Salem Cemetery, Weishample.

Memorial contributions can be made to Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, P.O. Box 123, Valley View PA 17983 to defer funeral expenses.
