Esther Mary Rebuck, age 85, of the Tel Hai Retirement Community, Honey Brook, formerly of Hegins, passed away Friday, April 2, 2010 at Tel Hai.

She was born on Saturday, April 26, 1924 in Pitman, a daughter of the late Lawrence Kehler and the late Eva (Snyder) Kehler.

She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Rebuck in 1994. She was also preceded in death by three brothers Earl, Dwight, and Ralph Kehler; by a sister Grace Klock; and by an infant sister Eva Kehler.

She is survived by a son, Rodger R Rebuck and his wife, Clare of St. Clair; a daughter, Ann M Morgan and her husband, Kenneth of Chester Springs; a grandson, Daniel C Rebuck of Ephrata; three granddaughters, Christine L Partlow of Gurnee, IL, Jill A Rebuck-Barney of Lititz, and Cynthia R Barry of Burlington, VT; seven great grandchildren; a brother Carmen Kehler of Ephrata; and a sister Norma Adams of Valley View.

Funeral services were held at Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins, on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Claude Schach officiating.

A viewing was held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church.

Burial wss made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.

Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, was in charge of arrangements.
