OBITUARY INFORMATION Saugerties, NY – Marilyn Thorne, a retired long time employee of Sawyer Savings Bank, died Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, NY. She was 78 years old. Marilyn was born May 10, 1931 in Catskill, NY the daughter of Andrew and Margaret Lee Klien. On September 20, 1953 she married George Thorne, who pre-deceased her on September 24, 1984. She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Thorne and Stephen Thorne, both of Saugerties; and one step grandson of Saugerties. Services were private and under the direction of Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Main Street Chapel, Saugerties, NY. Cremation was at the convenience of the family and interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Catskill, NY.
