Saugerties – With her husband at her side, Mildred A. Falk died Sunday, February 21, 2011 at Golden Hill Health Care Center in Kingston after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was 67 years old.
Born March 28, 1943 in Saugerties to Walter and Ruth Jones Overbaugh. She married Arthur W. Falk on June 23 1968.
Mildred was an avid bingo player and many years ago a skilled roller skate dancer. Previous employers include Ferroxcube and Marketech.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her son, Arthur W. Falk, Jr.; son-in-law Anthony Bell; two grandchildren Emily Rose Falk and Jordan Mickey; and three sisters, Kathy Linzey, Dorothy Thompson, and Dorie Keltch.
She was pre-deceased by her daughter Bonnie A. Bell; three brothers, Walter, Robert and Clarence Overbaugh; and her sister Shirley Valk.
Funeral services are private. The family suggests donation in her memory be made to The Alzheimers Association of the Hudson Valley, 2 Jefferson Plaza, Suite 103, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601-4060.
