Saugerties, NY – Mary L. Lucania died Monday, June 4, 2007 at Benedictine Hospital, Kingston NY. She was 56 years old. She was born August 29, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of James and Hermine Gillam Wonsor. Her husband Joseph A. Lucania died in 1983. She was employed as a secretary at Ulster Boces. She was an avid supporter of the Catskill Animal Sanctuary. She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Fullman and her husband Todd of Saugerties, and Lisa Lucania of Lake Katrine, NY; a grand-daughter, Sarah Fullman; a sister, Patricia Fawzy of Staten Island; and a brother, James Wonsor, Jr. of Brooklyn. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, June 9, 2007 at St. Mary of the Snow RC Church. Rev. Christopher Berean, Pastor of St. Mary of the Snow will officiate. Cremation was private. Arrangements are under the direction of Buono Funeral Service, Inc. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Catskill Animal Sanctuary, 316 Old Stage Road, Saugerties, NY 12477 or The St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
