Hermina Van Ede Williams, age 77, of Brownstown, passed away at Schneck Medical Center, in Seymour, IN, on Thursday, November 29, 2007, at 3:15 A.M. She was born on March 2, 1930, in Shelby County, AL and was the daughter of Cornelius and Lillian Adams Van Ede. She married Gail Frank Williams on September 2, 1949, in Rome, NY. She was widowed in 1999.
Mrs. Williams was a member of the Presbyterian faith, and loved to read, camp and care for her garden.
She is survived by her daughter; Sherry (Tom) Miller, of Brownstown, and her son; Eric F. Williams, of Phoenix, AZ, Seven Grandchildren; Josh, Marc, Daniel and Anna Edens, all of Brownstown, Colleen Williams, of Alton, IL, Matthew and Melanie Williams, both of Henderson, TX and one daughter-in-law; Terri Williams, of Henderson, TX .
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her children; Bruce L. Williams, in 2005, and infancy; Cynthia E and Daniel A. Williams.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the donor’s choice.
