| | | Frances L. E. Robbins, age 87, passed away, at 11:15 p.m., on Thursday, November 29, 2007, at the Lutheran Community Home, Seymour, IN. Mrs. Robbins was born on December 1, 1919, in Jackson County and was the daughter of William and Laura Hackman Von Dielingen. She married Paul M. Robbins on February 19, 1939, at St. John’s Lutheran Church- Sauers. He preceded her in death on April 18, 1987.
Mrs. Robbins lived in Bartholomew County for 23 years, and was a factory worker. She had been employed at Como Plastics, Grote Industries and retired from C.P. Electronics in 1984. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers.
She is survived by her sister; Harriett (Jack) Hickerson, of Crothersville and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Robbins was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers; Leland and Richard Von Dielingen, both of Brownstown.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 2007 at Burkholder Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Allen Wolka and Vicar David Kane, officiating. Burial will take place at St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, at Sauers, following the service. Friends may call at Burkholder Funeral Chapel on Sunday, December 2, 2007, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
Memorials may be made to the St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers or to the donor’s choice.
