Alberta Louise Nichalson, age 84, of Seymour, passed away at the Lutheran Community Home on Sunday, December 23, 2007, at 4:50 A.M. She was born on May 5, 1923, in Seymour, the daughter of George and Nora Phillips Weekly. Alberta was married to Eldon Taylor on January 15, 1944; he died on December 20, 1964, and then married Leslie Nichalson, on September 2, 1966. He preceded her in death on February 20, 1982. Alberta was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her Daughter; Joyce Taylor, of Seymour, Two Grandchildren; Barbara (Tom Bledsoe) Lucas, of Seymour and Tony (Kanina) Bullard, of Danville, IN, Six Great Grandchildren; Amanda (Andrew) Kriete, Sondra, Whitney, Austin, Mariah and Crystal Bullard, One Great-Great Grandchild; Zachary Kriete and One Sister; Ruby Allman, of Seymour.
Alberta was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, and 11 brothers and sisters.
Private family funeral services were held at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, December 24, 2007, at Burkholder Funeral Chapel, with Rev. D.G. Morris officiating.
