| | | George L. Steffen, 91 of Brunswick passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at his residence. He was born May 12, 1918 in Cleveland to George H. and Ruth (nee Bartholomew) Steffen and was a machinist for Cleveland Pneumatic retiring in 1981. He enjoyed gems, minerals and rose gardening. He was a United States Navy Veteran serving in WWII. Mr. Steffen is survived by his sons George C. (Joyce) Steffen of Brunswick and Roy (Linda) Steffen of Florida; grandchildren George Steffen, Sherri (Mark) Bellini, Christina (Vincent) Lincks; Charles (Heidi) Steffen; and Elizabeth (Vincent) Smithhisler; and great-grandchildren Rebecca, Cassandra, Jacob, Megan, and Steffen. He was preceded in death by his wife June (nee Ehrhardt) Steffen; brother Howard Steffen; and sister Louise Luttner. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Westview Cemetery in Brunswick. Family Services provided by Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick.
