| | | Hazel V. Gadd, 73, of Garrettsville, passed away on Friday, Sept. 4, 2009 at Hospice of the Valley in Poland, Oh. She was born December 13, 1935 in Tazwell County, Virginia to the late Wiley E. and Mattie (Wright) Waddell. Hazel was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, taking care of her home, and long walks.
She is survived by her husband, Clowney W. Gadd of Newton Falls; son, Ronald (Sandra) Gadd of Paris Twp.; daughters, Melissa (Richard) Devlin of Garrettsville, Anita (Bill) Toth of Garrettsville; Ginger (Lothar) Hurster of Windham; brothers, Pierce Waddell of Florida, John (Dottie) Waddell of Erie, Pa. and sister, Maudella (Ewing) Franks of Garrettsville; grandchildren, Jackie Zenisek, David Steed, Lisa Leonard, Samantha Gadd, Katherine Gadd and Christopher Gadd ; and great-grandchildren, Brandon, Bradley, Sierra and Morgan, Justin and Austin. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, James and Robert; sister, Joella and grandson, David Zenisek.
Memorial Services will be at 2 PM on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009 at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231, where visitation will be held one half hour prior to the service. www.carlsonfuneralhomes.com
