| | | Beverly Rose Lummis, 82 of Medina, formerly of Brunswick, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Elmcroft of Medina. She was born April 11, 1927 in Cleveland. She was a homemaker who started her career as a Bookkeeper. She then became a Sales Associate for K-Mart where she was employed for 17 years before retiring. She was a devoted and treasured mother, grandmother, and friend. Beverly is survived by her daughters Arlene Murphy, Debra (Richard) Sustersic, Mary Keaton, and Anne (Rick) Wilkinson; grandchildren Robert Murphy, Brenda (LaDon) Perkins, Jason Keaton, Michael (Angela) Keaton, Ryan (fiancée Jen Wagner) Keaton, and Kelly Keaton; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister Gloria (John) Gungl. She was preceded in death by her husband William Lummis Sr., son William “Bill” Lummis Jr., and grandson Sean Murphy. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the caregivers of Elmcroft of Medina where Beverly resided for the last year. Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile South of Route 303), Brunswick. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memory Gardens.
