| | | Paul D. Rote, 73 of Mayfield Heights passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Falling Waters Health Care Center. He was born October 14, 1935 in Fairmont, West Virginia to Frank and Angelina (nee Adams) Rote. He was a route salesman in the food industry, an avid sportsman, and a United States Marine Corp veteran serving in the Korean War. Mr. Rote is survived by his sons Dave (fiancée Kathie), Michael, and Lenny (fiancée Maureen) Rote; daughter Melanie (John) Noernberg; and grandchildren Tyler, Zachery, Ashley, David, and Kyle Rote; Emma and Ada Noernberg; and Christopher and Alexis Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, September 21, 2009 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland. Family Services provided by Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick.
