| | | Clara M. Popella, 86 of Columbus passed away on Monday, September 21, 2009 at Riverside Hospital. She was born February 6, 1923 in Hettinger, North Dakota. She worked a variety of jobs including ones at Berea Hospital and Brunswick School District. She loved her family and grandchildren and enjoyed her families Newfoundland dog Vallet. Mrs. Popella is survived by her daughter Nancy (Shannon) Young; granddaughter Stephanie Young; and siblings Alvin, Robert, Esther, and John Burri. She was preceded in death by her husband Steve; son Kenneth; parents; and several brothers and sisters. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, September 28, 2009 at 12:00 noon at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 3380 Tremont Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221. Family Services provided by Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile South of Route 303), Brunswick.
