| | | Elgie M. Richmond, 75, of Windham, died October 17, 2009 in West Virginia. He was born September 17, 1934 to Marion and Kate (Marsh) Richmond. Elgie was a maintenance man for Sprint Telephone Company. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed time spent with his family. He is survived by his children, Leroy (Marie) of Pennsylvania, Mary (Joe) Lutz of Windham, Kathy (Bill) of Missouri, Charles (Crystal) of Warren, Glen (Stephanie) of Leavittsburg, Michael (Brenda) of Alliance, Donald (Candace) of Windham; step-children, Robert Brandt of Calif., Betty Yafanaro of Parma, Gary Brandt of Windham, Jeanie (Gene) Lonk of W.Va, Gail Belknap of Windham, William (Kande) Brandt and Katie (Robert) Bowman all of W.Va.; former wife, Peggy; 62 grandchildren and step-grandchildren; 140 great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, Eleanora and Betty Richmond; 2 sons, 1 daughter, and 3 brothers, 2 step grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 1 step great-grandchild.The funeral service is at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 with visitation 2 hours prior to the service from 10:30 to 12:30 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231.
