| | | Mary C. Ritenour, 78, of Garrettsville, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna. She was born September 2, 1931 in Pennsylvania to the late Leroy and Martha (Stoner) Newell. Mary retired from Nymold where she worked for 26 years. She enjoyed attending model train conventions with her special friend, Earl Knowlton; tending to her flowers and garden, and playing bingo. She cherished spending time with her beloved family and friends.
Mary is survived by her sons, Donald of North Carolina, Larry (Elvia) of Texas, and George (Donna) of Newton Falls; daughters, Dolores (Michael) Lane of Newton Falls, Rose Marie (Richard) Lockney of Windham, and Sheryl (Thomas) Prem of Windham; brother, Raymond Newell of Pennsylvania; sister, Betty Jean Underwood of Pennsylvania; 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ivan, Donald, Leonard, and William Newell; sisters, Frances Pahel, Garnett Mader and Glenora; and grandchild Jennifer.
Calling hours are 6-8 PM on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009 at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St. Garrettsville, Ohio 44231, where funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday with Rev.
