Elsie F. Bodor Brooks, age 88, of Monroe passed away September 20, 2007 in St. Joseph's Manor. Mrs. Brooks was born in Bridgeport to the late Nicola and Antoinette Faustini and was a Monroe resident. She was a retired seamstress for Levine Coat and Sikorsky Aircraft where she sewed seat covers for President Eisenhower's helicopter. She volunteered over 10,000 hours at Seton Gift Shop at St. Vincent's Hospital during her thirty years of service. Survivors include her son, Joseph F. Bodor Jr. of Chesapeake, Ohio; her daughter, Patricia Baldieri and her husband, Albert of Monroe; her granddaughters, Tara Baldieri and her fiancé David McMahon of Monroe, Dawn Eplin and her husband, Jeff of Ohio, Tracy Butts and her husband, Steve of GA; her sister, Mary Manosky and her husband, John of Huntington, Indiana; her great-grandchildren, Brandon and Devin Eplin and Lindsey, Lauren, and Logan Butts; many nieces and nephews including special niece, Rosemary Antignani. She was predeceased by her husbands, Joseph Bodor Sr. and Charles Brooks; her brother Rocco Faustini and her sisters, Nancy Cuttler and Viola Celli. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Jude's Church 707 Monroe Turnpike Monroe.
Inurnment in St. Michael's Cemetery. Arrangements by the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of CT 2139 Silas Deane Highway Rocky Hill, CT 06067
