| | | | Anna T. Laitchak Blomberg, age 82, of Trumbull, died November 29, 2007 in her home. Mrs. Blomberg was born in the Bronx, N.Y. and was a longtime Trumbull resident before moving to Milford a few years ago. She worked for Bridgeport Jail Alai, Equitable Life Insurance and T.J. Maxx. Her family was first and foremost in her life. Mrs. Blomberg was predeceased by her husband, Emmett Blomberg and her son, Daniel Blomberg. Survivors include her six children, Veronica Dina of New Milford, Christine Scranton and her husband, Jan of Braintree, MA, Patricia Romero and her husband, Pablo of Salinas, CA, Frank Blomberg and his wife, Janette of Trumbull, Amy Cecere of Milford, and Julie Spodnick and her husband, Paul of Orange, her sister Marie Larke of San Diego, CA, fourteen grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend her funeral services on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. directly at St. Catherine of Siena Church 190 Shelton Rd. Interment to follow in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. in the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to CT Hospice 680 Bridgeport Ave. Shelton, CT 06484.
