| | | | Richard J. Borecki, age 65, of Monroe, died April 23, 2008 in CT Hospice. Mr. Borecki was born in Bridgeport and was a longtime Monroe resident.
He was predeceased by his wife, Carol Horonzevicz and his parents, Joseph and Anna Boyar Borecki. Mr. Borecki was a longtime tool maker for Robohand in Monore and a member of Trout Unlimited, CCA and the Housatonic Fly Fisherman's Association. Survivors include two sons, Richard Paul Borecki and his wife, Dawn of Cheshire and Ronald Joseph Borecki and his wife, Amy of Milford; two sisters, Diana W. Jones and her husband, Russell of Excelsior, MN, Alice Batrna and her husband, Paul of South Windsor, CT; five grandchildren, Benjamin Borecki, Samuel Borecki, Charlie Borecki, Ashley Borecki and Alexis Borecki and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Epiphany 1750 Huckins Rd. Cheshire. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd.Trumbull. Memorial contributions may be made to CT Hospice 100 Double Beach Rd.
