| | | | James A. Baldwin, age 62 of Shelton, passed away December 30, 2008, surrounded by his loving family after a valiant battle with cancer. Born in New York City, James was a longtime Shelton resident. He was a graduate of Fairfield University and held a Master's Degree from the University of Bridgeport. He was a Veteran of the United States Army where he served in Germany. Jim retired as a Supervisor of Juvenile Probation for the State of Connecticut in 2003. He was an avid sports fan, skier, traveler and outdoor enthusiast but most of all a great Dad who cherished the time spent with his family. Jim was predeceased by his sister, Joyce Baldwin-Heck. Survivors include his loving wife, Linda Baldwin of Shelton, his son Michael, and wife, Kate Baldwin of Stamford and daughter, Laura and her husband Christopher Kinder of Stamford., Jim's loving ways, generosity, and modest demeanor will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Calling Hours will be on Friday, from 4-8 pm at the Cyril Mullins funeral home, 399 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT. Friends are also invited to attend his funeral services on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. in the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, and 10:00 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary's Church, 380 Long Hill Road Shelton, Ct.
