| | | | Rita Malone Breen, age 91, formerly of Bridgeport, passed away June 11, 2009 at Maefair Health Care Center. Mrs. Breen was born in Bridgeport and was a lifelong area resident. She was predeceased by her husband Daniel J. Breen. She was an active member and volunteer at Our Lady of Grace Church where she was a member of the Marian Guild. She enjoyed singing and dancing and participated in numerous church musicals. An avid traveler, her favorite pastimes included cooking and shopping. Survivors include her daughter, Maureen Mas and her husband James of Derby; one brother William Malone and his wife, Jennie of Shelton; two granddaughters, Christianne Mills and her fiancé Russell Reed, and Kathleen Beckwith and her husband, Douglas; seven great grandchildren, Daniel, Christopher, Lexi, Emily, Kyle, Colby and Logan and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend her funeral services on Monday 9:15 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd and at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church Second Hill Lane Stratford. Interment in St. Michael's Cemetery.
