Thomas Douglas Buckingham passed away June 27, 2009. He was born October 25, 1924 to Edwin Clayton and Maud Margaret Buckingham in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He attended Bassick High School in Bridgeport. For most of his life, Tom worked for Mitchell Dairy and then Borden when Borden acquired Mitchell Dairy. He enlisted in the U. S. Army and received an honorable discharge. He was proud of the friendships he had with his association with the Trumbull Rangers football team. He is preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Paul Buckingham. He is survived by his sisterin-law, Barbara Buckingham of Las Vegas, Nevada; cousin Virginia Cantrell and her husband Harold of Madison, Connecticut; cousin Ann Schmitt and her husband Henry of Longmont, Colorado, cousin Mary Jane Johnston of Columbia, Connecticut, and cousin Esther Viets of Windsor, Connecticut. Graveside services for Tom Buckingham will be held on July 17, 2009 (Friday) at 1:30 p.m. at Mountain Grove Cemetery, 1675 North Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06604. Follow Cyril Mullins FH signs.
