| | | | Bauer, George Bauer, age 45, of Monroe, died June 27, 2005 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. George was born in Norwalk and was a longtime area resident. He worked as an R.N. for the VNA in South Central CT specializing in psychiatric nursing. Prior to the VNA, George worked for several years at Hall-Brooke Hospital in Westport. A graduate of Bassick High School, George also attended UConn before receiving his nursing degree in psychology from Norwalk Community College. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed nature, reading and helping those in need. Survivors include his devoted mother, Flora Feleky of Trumbull, loving brother, Michael and his wife, Teresa Bauer of Monroe. Family and friends are invited to attend his services on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Interment will be private. Friends may call on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA of South Central CT " in memory of George Bauer" 1 Long Wharf New Haven, CT 06511 .
