Obituary for Frances E. Bishop,
Bishop, Frances E. Gustavson, Bishop, age 88, of Trumbull died August 28, 2005 in St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Mrs. Bishop was born in Hartford, CT and was a longtime Trumbull resident. She was a retired Real Estate Agent for Richter Realty in Fairfield. Prior to this, she was employed by Travelers and The Hartford Insurance Companies. A member of the Rainbow Girls, she was also the pianist and later the organist at Grace Episcopal Church. Mrs. Bishop taught Sunday School at the church for many years. She and her late husband, Carl Bishop were members of the Cotillion Club, the Algonquin Club , the Mill River Country Club and the Milford Yacht Club. Survivors include her two sons, Jonathan C. Bishop of Trumbull and Jeffrey and his wife, Lisa Bishop of Easton, two grandchildren, Alyson and Caroline Bishop, several nieces and nephews and her adoring cat, Maggie. Friends are invited to attend her funeral services on Friday at 12 noon in the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Interment in Long Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
