| | | | Luis A. Arroyo, age 53, of Bridgeport , died April 6, 2006 in St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Mr. Arroyo was born in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico and was a longtime Bridgeport resident. He was a nurse’s aid for the Carolton Convalescent Hospital and an avid gardener and animal lover. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Bayusik Arroyo, three sons, Stephen Arroyo, Matthew Arroyo and Carlos Arroyo , all of Bridgeport, two brothers, Jose and his wife, Jennie Arroyo of Bridgeport and Adriano and his wife, Sonia of Puerto Rico, two sisters, Carmen and her husband, Carlos Alago of Bridgeport and Rosaura and her husband, Luis Carattini of Bridgeport, one granddaughter Amanda and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Teodoro and Melecia Perez Arroyo and his brother, Faustino Arroyo. Friends are invited to attend his funeral services on Monday at 9:15 a.m. in the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. and at 10:00 a.m. in St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Church 100 St. John’s Drive Trumbull. Interment in St. John’s Cemetery, Monroe. Friends may call on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. Panachida service on Sunday at 4:00p.m.
