| | | | Lowell Barker, age 72, of Trumbull, died April 27, 2006 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Mr. Barker was born in Ashland, KY to the late John and Inez Adams Barker and was a longtime Trumbull resident. He was a self employed real estate broker and a sports enthusiast. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Rottler Barker, of Trumbull; three sons, Michael S. Barker and his wife, Colleen of Fairfield; Brian T. Barker of Monroe; and Kyle E. Barker and his wife, Erika of Fairfield; one daughter, Elizabeth Balanis and her husband, Roderick of South Bend, Indiana, five grandchildren, Alex, Nolan, Kieran, and Jeanne Barker and Andrew Balanis, his brothers Joseph Bike of Auburn, Pa, John Bike of Tucson AZ; his sisters, Veronica Kutzcher of Derby, Caroline Collins of Trumbull, Margaret Deveny and Mary Shacoski both of Shelton and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his stepfather, Joseph Bike; his brother George Bike and his sisters, Jeanne Hedi and Catherine Raffaeli. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. directly at St. Catherine of Siena Church. Interment in Nichols Village Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. in the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home, 399 White Plain Rd.
