| | | | Jonathan M. Buckens, age 51, of Huntington, died December 22, 2006 . Mr. Buckens was born in Bridgeport and was a longtime Shelton resident. He was the co-proprietor of American Machinery Company. He was a longtime member and past officer of the MDNA and a strong supporter of VARCA. An avid fisherman and golfer, he was a member of the Brownson Country Club. Survivors inlcude his wife, Leslie M. Jeremy Buckens of Huntington, four children; Nathan Balogh and his wife, Jennifer of Seymour, Phillip Balogh of Norwalk, Samuel Buckens of Shelton, and Diana Buckens of Shelton; his mother, Margaret Yanosick Buckens of Shelton; his brother, William Buckens and Anne Marie Cannon of Newtown; two grandchildren, Jake Balogh and Drew Balogh; one niece Alison Minor; three nephews, Jeffrey Henchcliffe, David Hanchcliffe, and Leigh Buckens. He was predeceased by his father, William Buckens Sr. and his sister, Nancy Moran. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Wednesday at 7:00p.m. in the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Interment will be private. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Histiocytosis Association.
