| | | | Robert John Black, age 60, of Ansonia, died January 4, 2007 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mr. Black was born in Bridgeport and was a longtime area resident. He was a telecommunications installer for Lucent Technologies and Intel. He was a marine veteran during the Vietnam Conflict. An avid traveler, he also enjoyed fishing, boating and vacationing in Cape Cod. He is survived by his son, Brian Black and his wife, Dawn of Derby; his daughter, Robin Mary Black of Colorado; his brother, Dennis Patrick Black of Milford; his sisters, Patricia Forcier of Bridgeport and Elizabeth Kassay of Derby; his nieces and nephews, Jan Marie Forcier, Kaitlynn Black, Zachary Black, Jessica Black and Maximus Black and his grandson, Robert Black. Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral services on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. in the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew’s Church 435 Anton St. Bridgeport. Interment in St Michael’s Cemetery with full military honors.
