| | | | Agnes Baxter Morey, age 87, formerly of Trumbull, passed away October 7, 2009 peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Bishop Wicke Health Center. Born in Stratford to the late William and Mary (McDonald) Baxter, Agnes spent her adult years in Trumbull working at Booth Hill School and the Ella Grasso Center. She was a founding member of the St. Catherine's Ladies Guild and a longtime member of Pinewood Lake Association. She was predeceased by her son, Timothy Michael Morey, her sisters Julia, Louise and Rita, and her brothers William and Howard. Survivors include five children, Ellen Ivanovich and her husband David of Milford, William Morey and his wife Marilyn of Trumbull, Kathleen Morey and her husband Paul LaRosa of Rocky Hill, Kevin and his wife, Karen of Trumbull, and Thomas Morey of Bridgeport; eight cherished grandchildren, Tracey Picarazzi and her husband Guido, David Ivanovich Jr. and his wife, Debra, William Morey, Jason Morey, Erika LaRosa, Shannon Sampar and her husband Michael, Meghan Morey and Colleen Morey; four great-grandchildren, Guido, Abigail, Dante and Lilia; three loving sister-in-laws Evelyn Kennedy of Fairfield, Maureen McPartland of Hollywood, FL, and Edna Baxter of Delaware. Friends are invited to attend her funeral services on Monday at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Catherine of Siena Church 220 Shelton Rd. Trumbull for a mass of Christian Burial. Interment in Nichols Village Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Catherine of Siena Church (Annual Appeal) 220 Shelton Rd. Trumbull, CT 06611 or to United Cerebral Palsy of Southern Connecticut 94-96 South Turnpike Rd.
