| | | | Florence (Triunfo) Carrara, age 88, of Shelton, passed away October 18, 2009 at St. Joseph's Manor. Mrs. Carrara was born in NYC, NY to the late Michael and Jennie Triunfo and resided in Shelton for the past twelve years. She was a retired salesperson for Gimbels' Department Store. Mrs. Carrara was predeceased by her husband, Michael Carrara. Survivors include her two daughters, Corinne DeLisio and her husband Victor of Shelton and Diane Marino and her husband, Joseph of Rye Brook, N.Y.; one brother Angelo Triunfo ; one sister, Rose Nenna both of FL; five grandchildren Victor, Christine, Richard, Denise and Jennifer; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother John Triunfo. Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery Flushing, NY. Friends may call on Tues. from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association CT Chapter Suite 5 279 New Britain Rd. Kensington, CT 06037.
