| | | | Frank Eannotti, age 92, formerly of Trumbull , husband of the late Mary Mallozzi Eannotti entered into eternal rest on Thursday October 22, 2009 at Lord Chamberlain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Stratford with his family by his side. Born in Bridgeport on September 2, 1917 he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Nuccio Iannotti. Frank was a retire mason for Francini Construction and belonged to the Connecticut Laborers Union. He was a US Army veteran, serving with Company B 324th Engineer Battalion on WWII. He was awarded the Bronze Star and the Victory Medal, among other medals. While serving in the European-African- Middle Eastern Theater and the American Theater, he participated in the Invasion of Omaha Beach. He was a proud member of the Red One. Frank is survived by his devoted daughter, Josephine and her husband Edward Takach of Milford; two grandchildren, Karen and Edward Takach ;one great-grandson Kyle Takach; four brothers and sisters, John Eannotti Theresa Wysocki, Fred Iannotti and Yolanda Slachtosky and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Stanley, Lawrence, Patrick and Joseph Eannotti and Michael and Vincent Iannotti and sisters, Mary Pawlak and Diana Fontana. Friends are invited to attend his funeral services on Monday at 10:15 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd and at 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Church 5301 Main Street Trumbull. Interment in St Michael’s Cemetery with full military honors. Friends may call on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 372 Danbury Rd. Wilton, CT 06897-2523.
