Rosalea J. Miller, 81, of Huntington, widow of Norman Earl Miller, passed away Tuesday February 17, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM Sunday February 22, 2009 at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Gary L. Patton, Ph.D., officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Rosalea was born March 24, 1927 in Barboursville, WV, a daughter of the late Carney C. and Ida Pearl Nash Day. In addition to her husband and parents, her two daughters, Risa J. Murphy and Connie L. Freeman; three sons, Gregory A. Miller, Rodney D, Miller, and Norman R. Miller; and a brother and sister, precede her in death. She was a self-employed beautician. Survivors include ten grandchildren, Renee Keeney and husband Chris of Huntington, Carissa Werling and husband Ed of Cincinnati, Nikki Freeman Midkiff and husband, Rodney of Ona, Chad Freeman and wife, Melody of Ona, Chantill Nicole Miller, Gregory Lee Miller, and Sonya Marie Miller, all of Huntington, Ashlee Rae Miller, Shane Chadwick Miller, and Shawna Miller, all of Logan, WV; a step-daughter, Nancy Harless and her husband, Jack of Huntington; a son-in-law, Jeff Murphy of Huntington; nine great grandchildren, Kendall and Kyleigh Keeney, Baylee Freeman, Rylee and Brock Midkiff, Tanner Adkins, Trevor Adkins, Kennedy Miller, and Shyan Blair; and her caregiver, Sue Hoosier of Kenova.
