| | | Mrs. Vondenia Marie Miller, 75, of Huntington, widow of Ray Gene Miller died Thursday, January 20, 2011 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at Ridgelawn Abbey of Devotion, with Ernest M. Ritchie officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. She was born December 8, 1935 at Hurricane, WV, a daughter of the late Daner Horace and Margie Marie Eplion Mynes. She was a retired Workshop Aide at Green Acres Regional Center. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Sherman Mynes. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Vickie Lynn and Mike Smith of Huntington; two granddaughters, Emilee Jean and spouse Billy Ray Barrett of Huntington, and Kaylee Marie Smith; 2 great grandsons, Orion Ray and Ben Hayden Barrett; all of Huntington; a brother and sister-in-law, Donnie and Roxanne Mynes of Hurricane, WV, and a sister-in-law, Wanda Mynes of St. Albans, WV. Friends may call from 6pm until 8 pm Monday, January 24, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary. The funeral procession will leave Chapman’s Mortuary at 12:40 PM Tuesday, January 25, 2011.
