I will turn home at last once more
Knowing that a true soldier's rest
Once earned is sweet
His peace complete
Who gave until the last his best

Dear Violet and family,
My prayers are with you. Uncle Gerald was a wonderful man and he will missed by you all, but what nice memories you can hold on to. He is in the arms of the angels and with his brothers and Mom and Dad.

Violet, Carolyn, Loretta and Keith,
What wonderful memories I have with
the family. No matter how many of us
came, there was always plenty of food.
Gerald would laugh and say, just add a
little more water to the bean pot. It
was a gathering place for the whole
family. Mamaw Meadows had to have Violet's
cornbread. God Bless you all and you are
in our prayers. Love... Anne Meadows
