| | | Imogene "Ima" Haney passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born May 12, 1941 in Clarksville, Oklahoma to Odis Newman & Treva Russell. Imogene lived her entire life in Tulsa. She graduated from Central High School in 1959 and married her high school sweetheart, Gary Blaylock in 1960. Imogene raised her family in Tulsa and later married Tom Haney in 1974. Imogene was mainly a homemaker but did work as an interior designer & housekeeper throughout her adult life. She was very involved at the Beams of Light Family Church where she was a member. Imogene loved to watch HGTV & Evangelists. She is survived by four children, Patty Shumaker & Tony of Menifee, California, Shawn Blaylock & Anita, Johnnie Blaylock, Melanie Holliday & Johnny all of Tulsa, OK, Twelve grandchildren, Eight great-grandchildren, Two brothers, Don Newman & Dodie of Sapulpa, OK, Dale Newman & Penny of Tulsa, OK, Two sisters, Betty Young of Tulsa,OK, and Debbie Temme & Bob of Broken Arrow, OK. Preceding her in death were her husband Tom in May of 2000, her parents, a daughter, Teresa Lynn Blaylock. Service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2009 at the Beams of Light Family Church in Tulsa. Burial will be at 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2009 at Haskell Cemetery in Haskell,OK. All Arrangements have been entrusted to Christian~Gavlik Funeral Home 251-6464.
