| | | Juanita William Hardgraves left this world to join her husband John "B.J." Hardgraves and her Lord Jesus on July 18, 2009. Juanita was born to John Edwards & Noma Williams Edwards on February 20, 1920 in Bixby, Oklahoma. She was an accountant by profession and a long time resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Juanita was an exceptional person. In 2006, the City of Broken Arrow presented her with an award designating her as the "Community Senior of the Century" for counseling people in crisis. Her presence will be felt for generations to come. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 72 years, John "J.B." Hardgraves, son, Dempsey, two brothers, Cecil A. "Chief" Edwards and Pleas O. "Plug" Posey, grandson, Timothy Lancaster, and great-grandchild, Zachary Lancaster. She is survived by daughters, Shirley Gibbons of Overland Park, Kansas and Judy Windsor of Bartlesville and son, Ace Hardgraves of Broken Arrow, and a brother, Joe John Edwards & wife Doris of Coweta, thirteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and a host of good friends & neighbors. Special friends & caregivers are Bob Johnson, Barbara Lawson, Barbara Jean & Dink Ornder, Veronica Ornder, Jessica Link, Jennifer Bolton, Charlotte Jackson, & Beverly McCutchan. Although the family is grieving, they ask you to join them in celebrating the life of one who demonstrated unselfishness and exemplified the definition of Agape: Unconditional Love.
