| | | Victor E. Calvert passed away August 11, 2009 at the age of 87. He was born May 4, 1922 at Yukon, Oklahoma to Hiram & Izora Calvert. Victor served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. He also was a Construction Supervisor. Those left to honor his memory are his wife, Marilyn; his 6 children, Bart Pinkley & wife Pam of Mary Esther, Florida, Melanie Self & husband Kerry of Broken Arrow, OK, Ray Pinkley & wife Christy of Sapulpa, OK, Vicki Gravett & husband Frank of Whitebluff, Tennessee, Sharon Calvert, Leigh Ann Brady & husband Bud all of Encinitas, California; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Esther Bryant, & Dorita Cheatwood both of Lexington, OK, & Rosalee Edgeman of Norman, OK; 1 brother, Virgle Calvert & his wife Doris of Muskogee, OK. Victor was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, Violet Calvert, Velma Williams, & Donna McMillian; 3 brothers, Junior, Roy, & Ray Calvert; 1 great-grandson, Chase Matthew Jordan.
