| | | Rachel West Terrell passed away October 3, 2009 at Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born March 6, 1946 at DeQuincy, Louisiana to Preston West & Verdi Nipper. She moved to Magnolia, Arkansas where she was raised and graduated from Magnolia High School in 1964. Rachel married Jerry Ray Terrell on June 22, 1973. They moved to Owasso, Oklahoma in 1982 and briefly resided in Texas. Rachel has lived in Broken Arrow the last 10 years. She loved to sew and work with wood. Rachel enjoyed gospel music & watching spiritual TV shows. Her grandkids were her life, and she would do anything for anybody. Those left to honor her memory are her husband, Jerry Terrell of the home; 1-daughter, Robin Kendrick & husband Darrell of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; 4-grandchildren, Ashley, Jenna & Brandon Kendrick, & Laci Terrell; 3-brothers, Sonny West & wife Martha, Morrisy West, Dee West & wife Margaret; 3-sisters, Dolly Sellers, Sis Terrell & husband Bobby, Lou Hendricks & husband Gail; & her puppy dogs, Katy and Gabbie. Those who preceded her in death are her parents, 1-brother, Johnny Marvin West, & 1-stepson, Greg Terrell. The family has entrusted Christian~Gavlik Funeral Home with all the arrangements.
