| CUYAHOGA FALLS –Alfred E. Atchison, 89, died August 14, 2007. Mr. Atchison was born in Texarkana, TX and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls the past 52 years, moving there from Akron. He retired from Roadway Express as an office worker and was a Veteran of WW2 having served with the U. S. Air Force as a tail gunner. He was a graduate of the University of Akron where he was a member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity, was an avid woodworker and wood carver and was everybody’s Uncle Al.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert and is survived by her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Atchison of Cuyahoga Falls; nieces, Deborah (Mark) Hughes and Patricia (Dane) Spinelli; nephew Robert (Pamela) Atchison and 9 great-nieces and nephews. The Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday. Entombment Northlawn Memorial Gardens. | ||
